GINGER BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND INVESTMENT SUMMIT

TAK Integrated Agricultural Solutions Limited (TAK-IASL) is collaborating with Ginger Growers Association and Ginger Off-takers Association with the support of USAID-NEXTT (The Nigeria Expanded Trade and Transport project),
Nigerian Export Import Bank of Nigeria (NEPC), Nigeria Investment Promotion Council (NIPC) and Kaduna State Investment Promotion Agency to organise an international investment development summit on Ginger entitled "The Development of Ginger Value Chain in Nigeria ".

This summit is strategically scheduled to hold in Kaduna (Center of Ginger Cultivation in Nigeria) on Tuesday 25th July, 2017 at Hotel Seventeen, Lafia Road, City Centre, Kaduna.



The goal of the summit is to bring together all stakeholders in the ginger business to examine issues and challenges hindering investment in the overall development of Nigeria’s ginger business. The summit will provide a platform for face to face interaction/networking to demystify opportunities for greater investment in the sector.





Deliberations at the summit shall focus on examining the following themes;



* Production (cultivation challenges, Input supply, Quality, Pricing

  issues etc)

* Climate change adaptation & Sustainable agricultural practices

* Local processing & Value addition

* Organized off take

* Finance

* Export in the face of competing suppliers to the world market
